Business Development Manager – GENRTR
GENRTR is the Private Network Commerce channel for enterprise Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brands. With GENRTR, we are building Europe's most scalable partner network. We activate best-in-market offers within authenticated Closed User Groups (CUGs), such as employer communities, banks and insurers, loyalty platforms, and (semi-)public communities across Europe and the USA. It's a smarter and more sustainable alternative to traditional DTC and performance marketing: offering more control over reach, better margins, and measurable additional revenue, without retail conflict or brand risk.
About the role
For GENRTR, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in sales, business development, revenue generation, and account management within the B2B advertising market. This role offers ample opportunities for personal growth and development within a dynamic and innovative environment.
What you'll do
- You will seek out new clients interested in expanding their DTC revenue. Identify new opportunities and follow up on existing leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, both directly with advertisers and through media agencies. Manage assigned accounts to generate both new and recurring annual revenue.
- You will enthusiastically take responsibility for creating, optimizing, implementing, and managing the entire sales cycle.
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and skills regarding GENRTR's propositions, our technologies, digital media, and advertising in general, ensuring you are always ready to solve client challenges.
- Assist the Commercial Director in developing and achieving our commercial goals.
- Proactively seek client and industry relationships to optimize revenue and ensure excellent communication of the GENRTR proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partner agencies to achieve revenue growth, identify and leverage new opportunities for revenue growth, and drive the commercial growth and development of your client base.
- Manage the pipeline, revenue forecasts, and sales activities for maximum efficiency, and drive product development with new initiatives around offerings, data, and measurement.
About you
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar B2B sales, business development, or management role, with a proven ability to successfully serve prospects and clients.
- Experience with ad-tech platforms and integration.
- Experience with performance-based marketing and/or affiliate marketing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand clients and team members in Dutch and English.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Automation tools and platforms.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- You are commercially driven with strong business acumen.
- Emotionally intelligent, with high self-awareness and adaptability. Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
